FAR CORNERS ADVENTURES Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Reservations & Deposits

  • A deposit is required to reserve your trip. Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • We cannot hold dates without a deposit.
  • Our boats accommodate up to 6 anglers. We welcome parties of any size and may fill any remaining seats with other guests unless you have reserved a private charter.
  • Deposit Allocation: Deposits are applied on a per-person basis, not to a single individual's balance. For group reservations, each guest will receive a $100 credit toward their trip cost. The remaining balance is due from each participant. If one person pays the deposit for multiple guests, it is their responsibility to collect reimbursement from the rest of their party.

Cancellation Policy

Because our boats accommodate only six anglers, last-minute cancellations are often difficult to fill.

  • More than 45 days before your trip: Deposits are refundable, less any applicable processing fees.
  • Within 45 days of your trip: Deposits are non-refundable unless we are able to rebook your seat(s).
  • Within 30 days of your trip: If we are unable to rebook your seat(s), you are responsible for the full balance of your reservation.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise and will always do our best to work with our guests whenever possible. However, these policies allow us to continue operating and serving all of our customers fairly.

Weather Policy

Safety is our highest priority. If weather or ocean conditions make it unsafe to fish, Far Corners Adventures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the trip.

In the event of a weather cancellation, your deposit may be transferred to another available trip at no additional charge.

Please note that Far Corners Adventures is not responsible for any non-refundable travel expenses, including but not limited to hotel accommodations, vacation rentals, airfare, fuel, meals, or other travel-related expenses incurred due to a weather cancellation. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance if your trip includes non-refundable travel arrangements.

Trip Confirmation

  • A confirmation email containing important trip details will be sent to the party leader within 24 hours of booking.
  • It is the responsibility of the party leader to share this information with everyone in their group.
  • Only the party leader should make the required check-in call before the trip.

Fishing Policy

Fishing conditions vary from day to day, and while our crew will work hard to provide the best experience possible, we cannot guarantee catch rates.

Refunds or discounts will not be given for slow fishing or catch results.

Any remaining balance is due on or before the day of your trip unless prior arrangements have been made.

Crew Gratuity

A gratuity of 15–20% for your captain and crew is customary and greatly appreciated.

Agreement

By submitting a deposit, the party leader acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the Far Corners Adventures Deposit & Cancellation Policy.
