Go to the nearest overpass, drop a fishing line over the side, hook onto a passing car doing 40+ MPH and try to stop it! This is as close as I can describe what hooking a tuna on live bait is like. Westport, Washington has rapidly become the most popular and productive destination on the entire west coast to pursue albacore tuna. The close proximity to Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Portland makes it the perfect destination for our tuna adventure.

These trips are not appropriate for people with balance, spine, neck, limb, or severe health issues, recent surgery, require canes, crutches, or disabled in any manner that would inhibit keeping up during the trip. Each angler should be capable of lifting over 50lbs repeatedly. Depending on the ocean conditions the ride to and from the tuna grounds can be bumpy with occasional harder bumps as you'd expect. Please make sure everyone in your party is suited for this trip.
LIMITS: NO Limit!
There is no limit on Albacore, but we stop at about 1000 lbs. Average catch is 5-7 Tuna per angler. These are big fish with a lot of meat.
